The CobiNet FttH installation set with pre-terminated socket. Simply unroll, insert, fix – done!

The Rollerbox FttH installation set includes a factory-pre-terminated socket and a pre-assembled cable for installing of FttH network connections. This avoids time-consuming installation work in the home, as the connection box is already terminated ready for use.

The FttH installation set can be easily installed by one person thanks to the integrated fixation inside the box for easy unrolling of the cable.

Variants with lengths of 30, 50 and 70 metres are available.

For easy connection of the data cable at the building transfer point, we recommend the use of a field-terminable fibre optic connector (see below)

Optical termination socket (OTS)

Three flexible mounting options

The CobiNet optical termination socket offers three integrated mounting options: Surface-mounted, DIN rail or junction box. This flexibility makes installations simpler and also reduces stock and roll-outs for network operators and installers, as only one product needs to be kept in stock.

If an empty tube is used, it can be securely fixed in place so that the fibres can be blown directly into the termination socket.

In addition to the standard versions, the termination socket can be pre-assembled in the factory on request according to individual customer requirements.

Field terminable
fibre optic connector

The field-terminable fibre optic connector provides an uncomplicated and cost-effective method of connecting installation sets such as the CobiNet Rollerbox at the building entrance point. The timeconsuming and cost intensive splicing of the fibre optic cable is not necessary. Thanks to this the need for specialized stuff is reduced. The field-terminable fibre optic connectors are available in different versions.
